Apostolic Mentoring

Seizing A Kingdom Moment: Collaboration, Courage, And Revival! ... English & Norwegian

Rev. Charles G. Robinette Season 6 Episode 5

What if the difference between stagnation and a move of God is the courage to collaborate without compromise? We open with a powerful testimony from Iowa—prayer around a 4,000-seat stadium, visions of citywide revival, and a fresh call to seize this kingdom moment. From there, Pastor Turnbow joins us to share the kind of hard-won wisdom that only church planters know: work faithfully, pray fervently, and remember that God—not hustle—produces the increase.

We get practical about unity

We love to hear from our listeners! Thank you!

I greet you in the mighty name of Jesus from Columbus, Ohio. And oh what a wonderful weekend that we had in Iowa, in Dubuque, Iowa. We had so many people receive the Holy Ghost. So many somebody omy baptized in Jesus' name. We went out and did a prayer walk around a stadium that seats about 4,000 people in the city. And the Spirit of the Lord fell in that city as we were praying. God began to give us visions and prophetic words of the great end time revival that is coming to Iowa. And uh while I was there I had the opportunity to be on the Christian television network for three episodes. And the Lord moved so mightily in those interviews. They said Brother Robinet, would you pray for our audience that they would receive the Holy Ghost? They talked about kingdom vision in these last days, about filling stadiums and citywide and statewide revivals. We talked about the partnership of faith and how we could work together collaboratively and cooperatively in order to see a great outpouring of the Spirit. We must discern the moment that God is handing us locally and globally. Och vi måste känna att förstå vilket öblick vi är och vad vi ser och vad Gud gör. If we discern this moment we can have a faith momentum until the sound of the rapture. Och hvis vi får det så vill vi få en moment att tro i den här sista tid. This is the moment to build kingdom momentum. Och detta är tiden för att bygga kung rikomentum. But we gotta push off fear. Men vi var så vårt avfrigt. Vi gotta pusha off jealousy. V så vi se. We gotta push off that desire to control the kingdom. Och den begärar och kontrollerar sig. And we've gotta seize this kingdom moment. I saw a news report the other day. And uh one of the chiefs that are over turning point, um the Charlie Kirk Foundation. Och en och det som var leder i turning point. He said they are having thousands upon thousands of people that are converting to Christianity globally as a result of this tragic loss. Och på grund av det som man sett genom Körk och detta som har sett, så har det varit tusen visa människor som har omvänt och vill komma till Gud genom allt det som turning point tjerner. This is not the moment for God's truth pressing chörs to stand on the sidelines and wait and see how things shake out. Och vi som är guds folk. Det är tid för oss att stå på sidorna och stå och sä på. We don't have to compromise anything to have entime collaborativ revival. Vi skulle gå på compromis men nog vi skulle köra på få att det som gud vill ha allt. Don't be fearful about what we're gonna compromise because we're not gonna compromise. Ike ha fritter för att kompromitt för vi ska gå på compromis. Where we can build collaboration, let's build it. Och vi kan bygga kollaboration så lastig det. Where we can cooperate, let's cooperate. Och där vi kan samarbeta så lasjura det. I read a statement years ago. Och jag sa nog från år tillbaka. It said in essentials there must be unity. Och det är nytt eller vara enhet i omden. But in non-essentials there must be liberty. Men i detta så måste det vara frihet. But in everything there must be charity. Men mesta allt som var i kärlet. That's our goal. Det är det som har målet. Hold on to the faith that matters. Hold fast to den tron somebody betyder. Every Bible holiness. Alt som har med heligör, every Bible salvation. Allt som har med främst, but we can link arms and love people and build collaboration and fill stadiums to see people get the Holy Ghost. I don't want to be a spectator in these last days. I want to be right at the tip of the spear. I believe that God is setting up the church. But we have to discern the moment. Excuse me, sir. And we have to be bold. Ja, vi måste vara i tremodiga. Tack, thank you. We've got to have faith that God is going to use us mightily in these last days. Och vi må tro ochstå att Gud vill bruka oss mäkta den sista tid. I am so ready for end time revival. Jag är klar för allt det som har med veckans inröstning och göra. I don't want to miss this moment at all. And I woke up this morning so burdened in my spirit. I want to be a part of what God is doing. Jag vill vara en del av det som Gud ska göra. I saw that Brother Andres in Delaware. He had partnered together with turning point to have a citywide outpouring of the Spirit. Partnering where we can. We made a partner where. But holding fast to truth where we must. And taking advantage of this kingdom moment. And I'm not here to talk today. I am so excited about our guest today. I love my friend, Brother Turnbow. And he was already nagging me this morning. He wanted to know how much time I was going to take today. I love Brother Turnbow. He's been my friend since I was 17 years old. We got to go to Indiana Bible College together. He pastors a great church in Sugarland, Texas. Which is right there in the Houston area. As a matter of fact, my one of my daughters got the Holy Ghost and baptized in Jesus' name at his church on deputation. He's been a true and lifelong friend uh just forever. And he and I do many crusades together each year. And go and teach and train in different fields. But this great man of God is just he's a dear friend. And God uses him so mightily on every single trip that we take together. And I couldn't wait to have him on Alpostolic mentoring. Brother Turnbow, I love you, love your family. Please take your liberty, do whatever the Lord tells you to do. Well thank you, Brother Robinet, and I love you dearly as well. And just so appreciate your friendship and your guidance where you can give it, and your apostolic example to all of us. And I would encourage anybody that's listening today. That if you haven't been on a crusade with Brother Robinet. If you have teenage kids, take them with you as well. And again, brother Robinet, I appreciate your friendship and throughout the years, and just thank you for your steadiness and and uh just again the apostolic example that you give us. As he said, I'm here in Sugarland, Texas. Som man sa, so I Sugarland, Texas. And my wife and I planted a church here in this city. So I've seen God do a lot of things. So I said God's thing. And I've learned a lot. I've heard people say if he can do it, anybody can do it. And I agree somewhat with that. There is some truth in that. For God is no respecter of persons. But I do believe he is a respecter of principles. So really when it comes down to it. I did nothing. God did everything. I'm just a tool in his hand. Yes, I have to prepare myself. Yes, I have to be right with him. But ultimately, this is a God thing. I want to see everybody healed. But I can't heal anybody. I want revival. I want to see everybody saved. But I can't save anybody. Only Jesus heals. Only Jesus delivers. Only Jesus saves. So I want to play my role in all of this. I'm not the main character in the story, Jesus is. So early in our church plan. So we started menet. We most likely did everything wrong. So we altfile. People have teams these days. They go into areas with teams. And if you can do that, that's a beautiful thing. When we moved to Sugarland to plant this church. They try to get Bible studies, they try to get people on board. Leading up to being on site, I had had success reaching people. I myself wasn't raised in this. So I'd seen firsthand how God knew and knew that God would transform lives. This stuff works. The word of God works. The Holy Ghost works. And from the onset we'd work like it was up to us. And we'd pray and fast like it was up to God. And if things didn't go good, I'd think, well, I've got to do more myself. I'd work more, invite more, pray more, study more. And there isn't anything wrong with all that. Get in God's presence as much as you can. With all thy getting, get understanding. Do all you can. But there's a danger in taking blame when things don't go right. When you did everything you knew to do and yet it didn't go like you wanted it to go. And that simply cannot happen. We've got to continually give God glory for the things that He's done. If we did all we know to do and it doesn't go like we wanted, we can't take blame for that. I'm talking about being weary and well doing. You will reap, you shall reap if you faint not. If you just stay in there, stick with it, keep praying, keep teaching, keep reaching, it's God that will give the increase. So first today, my attitude to my involvement of what God is doing has to be settled. I'm going to cultivate my relationship with God. I'm gonna walk in the spirit, I'm gonna plan, I'm gonna water. But it's God that gives the increase. And secondly, today I've got to realize. We compartmentalise it. Like we put one place this, one relationship here, and another one here. And we think if we've got a disagreement or we're fighting with a brother that that's different from my ministry. Oh, we must have this bridge and kronger man, so more utnom this morning. Is it really? John 13, 34 and 35. Jesus said, A new command I give you. He said, A new command I give you, John thirteen, thirty-four and thirty-five. A new command I give you, love one another as I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples. Then in Matthew chapter 22, 36 through 39, Jesus says, Teacher, what uh uh a man comes to him, a lawyer, and he says, Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law? Jesus replied, Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and the greatest commandment. And they could have said, they could have said, We just want one. We just ask for one. You don't have to give us another one. And he could have said, they could have said, you know, that's enough, but Jesus didn't stop there. He said, the second is likened to it, love your neighbour as yourself. Yeah. If we ask ourselves, how am I doing with God? We have to include how am I doing with people. It's not an either or, it's a both and. So whoever's made me mad, whoever's upset me. If there's anyone that's let you down in the past 12 months or years. If there's anybody that said something to you or about you that you didn't like. Eller if there were något du kan likte som folk har sak till dig för exempel. It's going to happen, Matthew chapter 24 and 10, and then many will be offended, will betray one another and will hate one another. Och det vill säga att du får ett lag mot en annat för det står i Matthews 24 att det är något som kommer till och så och så. Så du får ett lant vant och tänke på. Okay, in Luke 17 and one, Jesus he said to his disciples: It is impossible that no offenses should come, so they're going to come. Ja, och i Lucken, Lukas 7, 11, så står det att man får står vad det är förbret på att få närmelse det vill komma. Matthew 18 and 21. Peter asked Jesus a question in the same vein. How many times should I forgive my brother when he sins against me? It's a real problem, it's a practical issue. It's a lot of times where we falter. Seven times seems like enough. But Jesus is trying to get Peter and the disciples into a new way of seeing rather than giving him a working number here. He says 70 times seven. So number one, my attitude towards the work that God is doing. Oh, first men holding if we'll have good year. Number two, I've got to forgive others. And that this right here brings us to the third thing, in which I'll I'll I'll end with. In Luke 17, the same thing, Jesus saying, You've got to forgive others 70 times seven, and Peter and disciples don't stand, they don't argue. They don't elaborate, they don't ask deeper into the question. And Luke 17 and 5, they accept Jesus' math. But they ask him one thing besides it. Lord increase our faith. Lord increase our faith. Help us to have more of you in the midst of our tiredness and testiness. Help us to have more of you in our heartbreak and in our disappointment. Help us to have more faith in our hurt and in our anger. Oh silently. Help us to have more faith in our awkwardness and messiness of broken people. Lord, increase our faith. Oh good, e us mere truth. Because without our faith it's impossible to please God. Mark chapter 9, verse 21 through 24. I won't go into the story. I'll elaborate. I won't read it. This man brought his son to the disciples and they couldn't do anything for him. He petitioned, but nothing happened. Nothing changed. Some people prayed, but nothing changed. Sometimes when we pray and we don't get our answer, we're the same as this man. And this man asked Jesus, he says, if you can do anything, have compassion on us. But he turned the man's statement back upon him. And he said, if you can, if you can believe. And the man says, I believe. Help thou my unbelief. And I hope this works in the translation. He's saying, Help thou my unbelief. Oh, this is good, brother. Read us, I read a statement. Not too long ago, it said half of learning is learning. And the other half of learning is unlearning. In the King James Version, this man did not ask for his faith to be strengthened. But rather he asked for his unbelief to be strengthened. Help me unbelief. In essence, he prayed, Lord, aid my unbelief. Så sa han hjälp med min vantrop. He's pretty much saying here, and some people are saying that don't even make sense. I don't want my unbelief to be stronger, I want my faith to be stronger. Men se fuggers are tron som man tänker på att bli stärkare, men någon gånger så tänkte man inte bara till the vantron och blir stärkare eller svakare. We walk by faith and not by sight. But sometimes all that we can believe is what we see. Men någon gånger så tror vi bara på det vi ser. Så Lord help my unbelief. So harre, hjälp mig min vantro. I'm having a hard time not believing what my eyes are telling me. Help me not to believe that. I'm having trouble adding up my resources and the bills together. I'm having trouble adding up the money and the bills. The the money's not coming in in line with the bills. The bills seem like they're more. Yeah, thank you. Help me not to believe that we're going under. Lord, the amount of evil in this world is overwhelming. Help me not to believe it's overtaking everything. Help my unbelief. And help me to believe your word. Believe your power. Believe you're with me. And help me not to trust what I see. Help my unbelief. For where sin doth abound, the grace of God doth much more abound. Help me to doubt the enemy's working and believe that you're working. Mark 9 23, all things are possible to him that believeth. Lord help my unbelief. We've seen God do many things, many, many things. But I still need God to work on me. God can heal a headache, but he can also heal cancer. He can heal a springed ankle, but he can also straighten crooked limbs. God not only can, but God will. The same God that provided 300,000 can provide three million. He will do it and we'll give him glory for it. Before we had our first service here in Shri. We're checking on rent and the prices are just so high. We didn't have any members, we didn't have any support, we didn't have a church, we only had a vision. Prices were very high and we didn't have much. And after the day of looking and scouring the the geography and what was around. We were trying to add it up and trying to say how how could this even take place? And uh I I I pulled into I pulled into a church's chicken, which is a is a fast food restaurant, cheap place, very unhealthy. And it says church's chicken, but it doesn't have anything to do with the church. I think it's the guy's last name maybe that started it. So we're there, and you know, just just in the whole theme of the resource thing and and trying to do work for God. No, yeah, no, for goods satin all that. We're standing at this fast food restaurant and looking up at the menu that's that's above on the wall. We make our orders and and I'm pulling out my wallet to pay for it. And there was a side door right to my left. And I noticed, I noticed the door opened, and as the door opened, a man came in. Oh, no door opened. He stepped right in front of me. Had cash in his hand. And he told me, he told me, this is a stranger from off the street we had already ordered. He comes in the door, hands the money and pays the cashier. Turns to me and says, We just want to give today. Walked back out the side door, got inside a nice SUV Lexus and drove off. It was as if God was speaking to my spirit. It's not a you thing, it's a me thing. It's not your resources, it's my resources. I'm the one that's gonna do it. I'm the one that's gonna perform it. The same God that did it before can do it again. Help thou my unbelief. I don't want to believe it can't happen. I look at the budget and it tells me that it's far, far too beyond me. I don't want to believe this is all there will ever be. Help thou my unbelief. Because there's times in my life when I believe what I see. Thomas, you believe because you've seen the nail prince and you've seen my side. Blessed are those that believe even though they have not seen. God is going to do it. Revival will come. A delay is not necessarily a denial. Just because God doesn't have it done it yet, doesn't mean he's not gonna do it. God's going to do it. God's going to do it. God's going to do it. It's God's kingdom. And he's going to do what only he can do. Lord Jesus, today we thank you for your presence and your power. We thank you, God, that you're working in every one of our lives. I pray right now, God, for our attitudes towards the work. Lord, we're a tool in your hand and help us to realize that. Help us to know that as long as we're doing right and being right, that your hand of anointing is upon us and we're going to plant and we're going to water. But God, it's you that's going to give the increase. Help me not to have any odd against my brother. Help me not to have something, God, that that is laying inside my heart, and there's that lack of forgiveness there. But help me to freely give as I've freely received and forgive others as you, the Lord, have forgiven me. And Lord, help me. Help me not to look at everything and just take things at face value. Lord, help my unbelief. And I pray for that one that's listening right now, that's tuned in right now. God, that maybe, maybe they're they're looking at the situation or maybe they have pain in their body and they're just taking it as that. Help our unbelief, aid our unbelief. I pray that you would not allow that situation that they see or that they feel to overtake them. But God, let your power and let faith be loosed into their heart and into their mind and know that you're going to do it. That even though you haven't done it yet, does not mean that you're not going to work, that you're not going to move, that you're not going to bless. Help us to believe you, to advance your kingdom through us, to bless and to strengthen and to pour out your spirit. Continue, God, to let souls be saved. Continue, God, to fill people with the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Continue, God, to help us to believe for it. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to lift up our faith here this afternoon. I pray in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus. In Jesus' mighty name. In Jesus' mighty name. In Jesus' mighty name, Brother Robinet. Thank you, my friend. Oh, hallelujah. Oh, thank you, Lord, for this word today. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I went to bed stressed last night. Ja, det blir ett stress på något. I woke up every two hours overwhelmed with this stress. Help my unbelievable, God. Hjälp mig vantrofar. Help my unbelief, God. Oh, thank you, God, for this word. Take that for it to order, far. Thank you for anointing our eyes today, God. Thank you for speaking into our ears today, God.
